Sustainability in practice
Responsibility is reflected in the way we plan, coordinate, carry out and monitor timber harvesting. We consider safety and the natural values of forests before work begins, and shared practices form the foundation of responsible work.
We develop our operations through observations and regular monitoring while maintaining competence through training.

We coordinate timber harvesting with regard to environmental requirements and site conditions. Preventing environmental harm and taking the natural values of forests into account are part of planning, work instructions and quality monitoring.

Safe work starts with anticipating risks, induction and competence. We encourage our personnel to actively report safety observations and discuss safety. We maintain safety competence through training, communication and close cooperation with our partner contractors.

Our partner contractors commit to shared quality, safety and environmental requirements. We monitor compliance through site visits and audits.
Monitoring and reporting
HSEQ audit Sustainability Report 2026
The HSEQ assessment covers occupational health and safety, environmental responsibility and quality capability. Our result in the 2026 audit was 542 points.
Our annually updated sustainability report brings together our objectives, metrics and development measures related to the environment, people and good governance. We use the VSME framework in our reporting.
